0056 hours. – Deputies served a warrant issued by Van Wert County Juvenile Court for non-appearance. Otto Masters, 33, from Antwerp, is being held at the Van Wert county prison pending trial. Masters was located by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

01:36. – Deputies responded to an area in Pleasant Township to check on the welfare of a subject walking on the roadway.

0500 hours. – Deputies responded to a residence in York Township to verify an open call to 911.

0646 hours. – Deputies responded to a location in the town of Van Wert to help a subject locked out of his vehicle.

0809 hours. – Sent Middle Point EMS to a location in Ridge Township for a subject with possible heart issues.

0811 hours. – Deputies responded to an area of ​​Ridge Township regarding a motor vehicle accident. The accident happened on US Route 30 eastbound, just east of Lincoln Highway. Unit 1 was traveling east in the rain when the vehicle hydroplaned. Unit 1 exited on the right side of the roadway hitting the ditch. No injuries were reported. Unit One was a 2014 Toyota Rav4 driven by Jeffrey E Smith of Argos Indiana.

09:39. – Sent Grover Hill EMS to a residence in Hoaglin Township for a subject who had fallen.

1002 hours. – MPs responded to a residential alarm in Willshire Township.

1111 hours. – Deputies responded to a residential alarm in Pleasant Township.

1221 hours. – Sent Middle Point EMS to a location in Ridge Township for a subject having a seizure.

1352 hours. – Sent Scott Fire to a residential structure fire at 334 South Sherman Street in Scott’s Village. Scott was assisted by Convoy Fire, Grover Hill Fire and Middle Point Fire. Deputies responded to help with traffic control. The Van Wert CERT team responded to help with fire rehabilitation and family needs.

4:37 p.m. – Sent Spencerville EMS to a residence in Jennings Township for a sick subject.

1650 hours. – Sent Middle Point EMS to a residence in Washington Township for a subject with chest pain.

1714 hours. – Deputies served a warrant issued by the Van Wert County Common Pleas Court for a violation of probation. Dillon Nihiser, 26, of Van Wert is being held at the Van Wert County Correctional Facility pending court. Nihiser was located by the municipal police of Van Wert.
1823 hours. – Deputies responded to the Village of Convoy to assist a subject locked out of their vehicle.
1910 hours. – Deputies responded to a Liberty Township residence to investigate a harassment complaint.
2019 hours. – Deputies responded to a residence in Willshire Township at the request of the Adams County Sheriff in Indiana ref to a complaint of subjects shooting and believed the shots were crossing the road toward a residence.
2036 hours. – Deputies responded to a residence in the Village of Ohio City to investigate a report of criminal damage.
2104 hours. – Deputies served a warrant issued by the Van Wert County Common Pleas Court for a violation of probation. Kevin Davies Jr., 32, of Van Wert, is being held at the Van Wert County Correctional Facility pending court. Davies was located by Van Wert City Police.
2241 hours. – Deputies responded to an area in Liberty Township over a report of several high water spots on the roads.
