12:26 a.m. – Deputies responded to a location in the town of Van Wert to assist Van Wert police in a verbal argument.

1:50 a.m. – Dispatched Ottoville EMS to a residence in Jackson Township for a subject who fell.

7:05 a.m. – Deputies responded to a residence in Washington Township to stand by as a peace officer while a subject reclaims property.

11:25 a.m. – Dog Warden responded to the Village of Middle Point for a loose dog.

1:13 p.m. – Deputies and Ohio City EMS responded to a location on U.S. Route 127 in Liberty Township for a subject who was injured while riding a bicycle.

3:33 p.m. – Deputies responded to Lincolnview School in Ridge Township to investigate a motor vehicle accident in the parking lot.

4:10 p.m. – Deputies and the Ohio State Highway Patrol, along with Ohio City Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to a report of a semi-rollover truck on U.S. Route 127 and Wren Landeck Road in Liberty Township. Ohio State Highway Patrol conducted the investigation.

5:04 p.m. – Deputies responded to a location in the Village of Middle Point to help a locked subject out of his vehicle.

5:22 p.m. – Deputies responded to a location in the town of Van Wert to help a subject locked out of his vehicle.

5:54 p.m. – Deputies responded to a location in Ohio City Village to investigate a harassment complaint.

1:46 a.m. – Middle Point Emergency Medical Services dispatched to a residence in Ridge Township for a subject with chest pain.

6:44 a.m. — Deputies responded to a Village residence in Ohio City to investigate a domestic dispute.

7:24 a.m. – Sent Convoy EMS to a residence in Harrison Township for a subject who fell.

9:36 a.m. – Deputies responded to a location in the town of Van Wert to assist Van Wert Police.

10:12 a.m. – Deputies responded to a location in the town of Van Wert to help a subject locked out of his vehicle.

10:26 a.m. – Deputies intervened at a residence in the town of Van Wert to help a subject locked out of their vehicle.

10:48 a.m. – Deputies responded to a residence in York Township to assist a residence that was having difficulty with their home phone.

3:53 p.m. – Deputies along with Van Wert Fire & EMS responded to a report of a two-vehicle crash on U.S. Route 224 at Old Tile Factory Road in Pleasant Township. The Ohio City EMS, Van Wert Police, Ohio State Highway Patrol and CERT team also assisted at the scene. Unit 1 was traveling south on US 224 and went left of center about 200 feet north of Old Tile Factory Road. Unit 2 was traveling north on US 224 and attempted to avoid the collision by exiting on the right side of the road. Unit 1 hit Unit 2 just south of Old Tile Factory Road on US 224. Unit 1 ended up in the ditch just south of Old Tile Factory Road on the west side of the US 224. Unit 2 ended up in the ditch north of Old Tile Factory Route on the east side of 224. Unit 1 was a 2003 Lexus RX300 driven by Elaine Varalla by VanWert. Unit Two was a 2015 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Sandra Smith of Convoy.

6:22 p.m. – Deputies responded to a location on Becker Road in Jennings Township over a report of loose horses on the roadway.

6:32 p.m. – Deputies responded to a residence in the town of Van Wert to assist Van Wert Police with a welfare check.

6:57 p.m. – Deputies responded to a residence in Liberty Township on a complaint from suspicious people on the property.

7:29 p.m. – Deputies responded to a location in Pleasant Township to assist Van Wert Police.

9:23 p.m. – MPs, along with Middle Point EMS, responded to an area of ​​Hutchinson Road at Hoaglin Township for a vehicle accident involving minors with minor injuries. The incident is still under investigation.

10:03 p.m. — Deputies served a warrant issued by Van Wert County Common Pleas Court for receiving stolen property. kitty Johnson, 35, of Delphos, is being held at the Van Wert County Correctional Facility pending court.

Kenneth C Boyd III, 36, of Van Wert, was arrested on a Misdemeanor 1 charge of Aggravated Threat and was transported to Van Wert County Correctional Facility pending court.

11:11 a.m. – Deputies responded to a residence in Pleasant Township to help a subject locked out of his vehicle.

11:23 a.m. – MPs responded to an area of Willshire Ohio City Road in Willshire Township to investigate a car accident. Unit 1 was southbound on Schumm Road south of Willshire
Ohio City Road. Unit 1 exited on the left side of the roadway and the driver’s mirror struck a utility pole. The left-back then hit the electric pole. this caused damage to the left side mirror and the left rear of the truck. Unit One was a 2004 Ford F150 driven by Kevin Big by VanWert.
