Video: Tri-County Cruizers Car Show benefits the Dardanelle Senior Activity Center | life in the valley


Everyone was invited to the 2nd Annual Tri-County Cruizers Charity Fair which was held Saturday, June 4 from 9am-2pm at Merritt Park in Dardanelle. All proceeds from the auto show benefited the Dardanelle Seniors Activity Center.

There were food trucks, popcorn, snow cones, face paint, a playground, bumps and jumps, 50/50 drawings, door prizes, a Wipeout board of 500 $ and a silent auction with over 20 cool items to bid on.

Live music was performed by The Midwestern Playboys and Western author John T. Wayne, grandson of the legendary John Wayne, was there with the True Grit Thunderbird, promoting his books, signing autographs and presenting a trophy for his favorite ride. The event included 14 categories of cars, trucks and motorcycles, as well as a Senior’s Choice award, a People’s Choice award and a John T. Wayne’s Choice award. The event trophies were sponsored by Legends Casino Resort.

The car show was free for those who attended and the entry fee to participate was $10.

The event was a great success with 104 participating vehicles and the event raised $4,600 for the Dardanelle Seniors Activity Center. The event organizers would like to thank everyone who participated and everyone who attended. Thanks to all of you, the car show was a success and as always, your contributions will help the Dardanelle Senior Activity Center in many ways!
